Paul Emanuelli (Canada) is a procurement lawyer holding a B.A. from the University of Toronto in 1993 and his LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1996. He was called to the Ontario Bar in 1998. His commercial law practice focuses on information technology procurement, outsourcing and supply chain management. He was worked for both public and private clients. 

Mr. Emanuelli is the Course Leader for the Intensive Course in Public Procurement  and the Advanced Course in Public Procurement delivered as part of the Continuing Legal Education Programme at the Osgoode Hall Law School, Toronto Canada and frequently speaks and publishes in his areas of practice.  He is the founder of Northern Standard Procurement Institute which has developed and delivers throughout Canada, unique and specialised training programmes in the field of procurement law and practice including Purchasing Fundamentals, Success in Public Purchasing I and II, and Secrets of Aerodynamic Drafting. 

Mr. Emanuelli is the author of the leading textbook entitled Government Procurement, published in November 2005 by LexisNexis Butterworths with the second edition being published in 2008. 

Mr. Emanuelli also distributes a free quarterly electronic newsletter, the National Tendering Law Update, to a cross-Canada/Caribbean subscriber base of procurement professionals. Mr. Emanuelli is the Co-Chair of the Government of Ontario's Commercial Lawyers Group. He previously served two terms as Chair of the Ontario Bar Association's Public Sector Lawyers Section and four terms on the executive of the Toronto Computer Lawyers' Group. He is also a former member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Law Officers of the Crown, where he served on that organisation’s bargaining and grievance committees.
